Andrew's grandfather
and father were compulsive novice stamp collectors. Andrew has now inherited
over 40,000 stamps which he plans to construct an exhibition using the
stamps as the material source for the work in the future.
245 of these stamps
were used to create the below self portrait, which celebrates Andrew's
fathers heritage, one that is complex and full of stories.
After Andrews' mothers
death, he discovered boxes of love story books, that his mother read in
secrecy. The outcome of this can be seen in Love Stories in Bed.
