Rodale Institute

When Rodale Institute moved to their current location in 1973, Bob Rodale envisioned a farm that would become the epicenter of the organic movement. On their certified organic farm, they have a diverse operation including compost, livestock, vegetables production, greenhouses, small grains, gardens and 1100 certified organic apple trees.

Their farm is the basis for all of the Institute's research, education and outreach. They’ve created a variety of demonstration projects that can be replicated on farms and in communities throughout the world, bringing them one step closer to realising their vision of an 'organic planet'.
